CLUB GRANTS

ClubGRANTS Scheme

Club Burwood supports a wide range of charitable bodies, community groups, schools and sporting organisations through the ClubsNSW ClubGRANTS Scheme.

Applicants should read the Club Grant Application Guide to determine whether they are eligible for Club GRANTS funding, a copy of which can be found here. There are two community funding categories under the ClubGRANTS Scheme:
· Category 1 expenditure on specific community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities; and
· Category 2 expenditure on other community development and support services (eg traditional areas of club expenditure, such as support for sport and recreation groups).

Please note applications for Club Grants 1 have now closed for 2019.  

How Do I Apply?

Category 1:
Community organisations are invited to apply for funding towards projects that address local community needs of residents primarily residing in Burwood and Strathfield Local Government areas.
All Category 1 applications are processed through Burwood Council and the ClubGRANTS Local Committee.

Category 2:
All Category 2 applications do not require an application form, however, should be sent in writing addressed to ‘The Board of Directors’ Burwood RSL Club, PO Box 26 Burwood 1805, or emailed to ‘info​@​burwoodrsl.com.au’ to ‘Attention Board of Directors”. The Board meet on the third Tuesday of each month and will assess each application individually during these meetings. You will be notified by mail or email on the day following the Board Meeting as to whether your application was successful.

July, 2020: Applications reviewed by CLUBGRANTS Local Committee

Funds are provided by Burwood RSL Club, Club Burwood & Croydon Park Club. This is a State Government-Club Industry program funded by 2.25% of gaming revenue.
