Burwood RSL Club limited amalgamated with West Harbour Rubgy Union’s licenced Club in 2002, whereby the club was re-named Burwood Sports Club. In January, 2006 the Club was closed for complete renovation and extension. Burwood RSL Club has spent in excess of $5 million dollars on the reconstruction of the new Club; tripling in size from 1 floor to 4 floors, and has been re-named Club Burwood.
